Tour Itinerary :

Day 1: Visit Sesriem Canyon

This fascinating geographical formation is well worth a visit. The result of millions of years where water carved its way into the earth, Sesriem Canyon is today three kilometres long. Views from the top are breathtaking while walks through the canyon reveal distinct geographical layers which were laid down over aeons.

Day 2: Guided quad-biking

Eco-sensitive quad-biking through the private Kulala Wilderness Reserve will allow you to take in those incredible views and to catch a glimpse of the denizens of the desert.

Day 3: Nature drives

The 37,000 hectare private Kulala Wilderness Reserve offers visitors exclusive wildlife-viewing opportunities which include the likes of oryx, bat-eared fox, brown hyena and birdlife. Drinks stops in scenic parts of the reserve are a highlight.

Day 4: Balloon safaris

The balloon safari on the Kulala Wilderness Reserve offers a truly unique experience to soar silently above the magnificent sand dunes and desert, with a champagne breakfast being served at your landing site. This activity is at additional cost and is closed from 15 January to 15 February.

Day 5: Walking trails

Walking trails focus on becoming immersed in this remote area, as well as its scenic beauty and the fascinating, and surprisingly, diverse array of insects, reptiles and rodents which make this dry and harsh region their home. The Tsauchab River Trail takes a stroll along a fascinating dry riverbed.

Day 6: Horse riding safari

Ride through some of the most spectacular and unusual scenery on the planet on well-schooled horses. Watch the sun go down at a beautiful spot while sipping a drink and then canter back under the stars in time for dinner. This activity is at additional cost and on request.

Little Kulala is a luxurious desert retreat situated in the private 37 000-hectare Kulala Wilderness Reserve – the gateway to Namibia's Sand Sea with its towering dunes and clear starry skies. Desert-adapted wildlife in the area is fascinating and is another dimension of this truly spectacular place. Accommodation consists of 11 climate-controlled, thatched "kulalas" (the word means 'to sleep') which merge impeccably into the desert landscape, each with private plunge pool, both indoor and outdoor showers and a rooftop star bed for romantic star gazing. An elegant entertainment area includes a library, wine cellar, craft boutique, lounge and dining areas. Little Kulala’s interiors make use of neutral colours, gorgeous textures and natural light and takes its inspiration from its surroundings, notably from the magnificent Dead Vlei.

Specific Departure Dates :

This offer is valid for travel from 10 November 2015 up to and including 20 March 2016. It excludes the festive period from 20 December 2015 to 10 January 2016 for all camps except Rocktail Beach Camp, whose exclusion period is from 5 December 2015 to 10 January 2016.

The tours commence & terminate in Johannesburg unless otherwise specified in the itinerary. A 25% cancellation fee will be levied by the airline should any changes be requested after a ticket has been issued. Passengers originating from other centres in South Africa may join the tours on payment of the applicable add-on airfares. Once tickets are issued, tickets may not be changed and are non-endorsable.


A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of 10% of the total tour price is payable at the time of making your reservation. The balance of the tour price is payable 8 weeks prior to departure. We reserve the right to cancel any reservations for which the total fare has not been paid by the due dates, in which event the deposit paid will be forfeited. Reservations will only be considered firm bookings when the deposit has been received in our office.


Prices shown were correct at time of going to print and calculated using the prevailing exchange rate as at that date. Final prices are only calculated, however, on date payment is received by Fine Bush Tours. All prices are subject to increase without prior notification due to airfare/air fuel increase, currency fluctuations, price adjustments or government taxes.


Tour prices do not include airport or tourist taxes, costs of obtaining passports, visas, telephone calls, laundry, entertainment arrangements not show in the itinerary, lunches and beverages, unless actually specified and any other items of a personal nature.


All deposits are non-refundable/non-transferable. Passengers cancelling within 8 to 4 weeks of departure will forfeit 25% of the total tour cost, within 4 to 2 weeks of departure 50% of the total tour cost paid and within 2 weeks 100% of the total tour cost. In accordance with the standard procedures adopted by tour operators worldwide, we reserve the right to cancel any tour prior to departure, in which event the entire payment will be refunded without further obligation on the part of the company.


Tour participants are strongly advised to take out travel insurance covering personal accident, medical expenses, emergency repatriation, and baggage loss, loss of funds through cancellation or curtailment.


Should you have any special request, these should be conveyed to us at time of booking. Although every effort will be made to comply with any special requests, the company cannot under any circumstances guarantee these requests will be honoured whether on the flight or at your final destination.


The company does not hold itself responsible for any delays prior to departure, or during the course of its tours, brought about by technical difficulties, strikes, weather conditions or any other unforeseen circumstances which are beyond our control.


Passengers over the age of 75 are required to provide medical certificates certifying their fitness to travel.


It is the responsibility of each passenger to ensure that they are in possession of the correct documentation prior to departure. The company shall not accept responsibility for any consequences of any nature whatsoever, arising from the passenger failing to ensure that he/she has complied with the necessary health/passport/visa/re-entry permit requirements. Passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months after your intended return date.


A baggage allowance of 20kg per person is permitted when travelling to all countries with the exception of the USA where 2 pieces per person is permitted. Please contact your travel agent for specifications.
